Problem

When producing FRS 105 IXBRL report an exception regarding director signature appear

Resolution

General Exception report

A director has not been selected to sign the report of the director. Where the director intended to sign the report is known, details should be entered in EDIT | DATA SCREENS | COMPANY INFORMATION | SIGNATURES ON REPORTS | REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS.

As a workaround – change the accounting standard to FRS102 (Posting / Post file Maintenance / entries / change ) and go into the data screens and compete following screen . Director / Signatures on reports / Report of directors.

Change the accounting standard back to FRS 105, and this will remove the exception
