Problem

How to bring forward opening balance for cash and cash equivalent

Resolution

Posting – Post file maintenance – entries – click on current year post file and change – change the accounting standard to UK GAAP (this needs to be done for all three post files).

Then go into the data screen – small companies – FRSSE – untick box to disclose FRSSE and save. Then transition back to FRS and this will bring forward the opening position.
