- Problem
- On the Operating Profit note the 'Highest paid director' emoluments totals are not appearing for either current or last year
- Resolution
- Highest paid director emoluments will ony appear if they exceed £200,000 The highest paid director information will not show if it is a small company, there is an option to disclose this in the financial statement small company screen. Run a TBL report and check that postings exceed this figure. Make sure postings have been made to correct sub accounts and *? for required director. The calculation of the £200,000 does not take into consideration the pension contributions posted to /6 and /7 Check postings to ‘Benefits in Kind’ as these may be what is theoretically pushing the emoluments over £200,000. If this is the assumption then postings to these accounts do not make emoluments exceed £200,000 so figure will not show on the note. (They are however included once the emoluments figure is over £200,000)
