Problem
It has been identified that when trying to load Capital Assets from within IRIS Personal Tax the program appears to load but nothing appears on screen.
Resolution
This is a problem with a corrupt registry setting. Following the steps below will reset the registry setting and resolve the issue.
  • Click Start and then click Run.
  • Type Regedit and press Enter
  • Locate HKEY Local Machine->Software->IRIS Software Ltd and delete the folder labelled Capital Assets
  • Close Registry Editor and retry IRIS IMPORTANT – Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using the registry editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. IRIS cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
