I am getting an IRIS Practice Version Check following the 22.2.402 installation on my workstations and I am unable to open the software.
Resolution
If you see an IRIS Practice Version Check with the description reading as [(null)] on your workstations when attempting to launch IRIS after updating to the 22.2.0.402 version, it is because the Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server Version 18.6.3.0 hasn’t been installed. To resolve this please see the following steps below.
- Click start and type System Information then click open.
2. In System Information, please look under System Type and note what the value says. If it says X64 you are using a 64bit operating system. If it says X86 then you are using a 32 bit operating system.
3. Once you have verified which system type you are using, please download and install the SQL driver that will be applicable to your system.

4. Once the driver install has been completed, please try running IRIS Accountancy Suite again.
