Problem
When I go to the client it says the previous year end date is invalid. You go to OK to change- then says the programme has stopped working and kicks you out.
Resolution
The reason this message is appearing is because yo a valid previous end date or a commencement date has not been entered. Go to accounts production | posting | post file maintenance | Entries | Change | Click on the spy glass next to previous account period date | Yes | Add | add a previous end date | and select the end date to enter in the field. Alternatively you can enter a commence date in client | view.
