Problem

The new timesheet screen has changed, prompting customers to ask how to use the new blue timesheet screen.

Resolution

From the timesheet screen, the top part is now essentially a search bar. The default of which is set to show the last three months, and anytime sheet that has currently not completed or has not been applied to the ledger. It is recommended to delete the date and click Apply to show anything outstanding on these timsheets. From there, you can then also search via the staff ID. This is to search for anyone (including managers or partners), whereas searching via staff manager or partner will bring up staff associated with them. To view older timesheets, tick the box that says “Completed and Fully Applied” and then Apply. It is recommended to do this with a staff ID chosen to view all completed timesheets. By clicking on the timesheet you want (clicking anywhere on the line EXCEPT the staff ID and Staff Name) to highlight, this will activate all the re-open timesheet and post timesheets buttons. You can re-open the timesheet to post again, or use the post timesheet to apply any current instructions to the legder for billing. If someone is currently updating and you cannot re-open the timesheet, you can still double click on the timesheet to open it in “View only” mode.
