Problem
IRIS Personal Tax- Foreign Property, enter the Foreign Tax Paid? OR it triggers a FHL to show on UK Property page?
Resolution
Load Client in Personal Tax – Income Tab – Foreign – Property Income – New ( in the middle of the screen) – Enter all the details of the property. Choose Income tab – New (at the bottom of the screen) and enter the amount next to Tax Paid: Foreign (at the bottom of the screen)
FHL Foreign keeps showing on the UK property page and not on Foreign pages.
a) If a Foreign property is a ‘furnished hol let’ – there is a tick box for it, if ticked then this triggers to show on the UK property page AND wont show on the Foreign pages box 14 (yet it will still trigger the Foreign pages).
b) IF unticked – it shows on the Foreign pages box 14 AND wont show on the UK property page
