It has been identified that when Kaspersky Anti - Virus is installed, certain parts of IRIS either do not load or load with a delay This is due to a configuration issue with the Anti-Virus software, not with the IRIS code and therefore not specific to IRIS applications NOTE: IRIS is working as designed - and it is advised that Kaspersky Technical Support be contacted to resolve this issue, however if this is not possible, follow the steps below to change the Kaspersky configuration. Resolution
Following the steps below may resolve the issue with the Kaspersky configuration. NOTE: The steps below may apply to a different version of Kaspersky software, in this instance you will need to contact your own IT provider. To modify the Kaspersky configuration:
  • Open Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
  • By default you are presented with the Protection Window.
  • Click Settings
  • From the list of options that appear click Configure Real-Time Protection
  • Exclusions will either be specified or not specified. This will be shown in blue text. Click on the blue writing
  • Click Add
  • Scroll down the list until you reach the IRIS folder/network drive
  • Click Select
  • Click OK
  • Click OK
  • Close Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Restart the computer for the changes to take effect IMPORTANT: IRIS cannot supply any additional information regarding this issue.
