Problem
How is box 12 on page T1 - net amount of dividend income taxed at the trust rate for income chargeable on the settlor completed?
Resolution
Users are required to:
1. Log on to Personal Tax and select client.
2. Select Trusts, Settlements and Estates, select Income Chargeable on Settlors.
3. Click New, add the trust details.
4. Enter the Gross income; enable Chargeable at the rate applicable to trusts and Dividend rate.
