Problem
Box 14.1 of the 2009 Trust and Estate Tax Return shows See Additional Information, but no payments have been made to the beneficiaries within the year.
Resolution
This situation has occurred due to a fault with the HMRC system which arises when there are no entries required within boxes 14.1-14.14, but an entry has been made within box 14.15. The statement referring to see additional information is required to work around this HMRC fault and prevent the Tax Return from being rejected when submitted online.
