Error 1611 when transmitting CT600 return
Resolution
This error is caused when a corporation tax return is generated as amended in IRIS but the HMRC have deleted the original return from their servers. The return will need to be generated as new within IRIS to transmit successfully. Please do the following:- 1) Go to Reports, Electronic Tax Return and generate another return as New 2) Go to Reports, Transmit Internet Return and transmit the New Return Before trying to generate a return when receiving the letter from the HMRC and therefore alleviating the above error being produced user’s are advised that they can carry out the following:- 1) Go to Reports, Transmit Internet Return and highlight the client in question. 2) Right click your mouse and select Reset Status and the software will ask you to confirm that this is what you require to do. Select Yes. 3) You will now be able to generate a new return
