How to transfer marriage allowance (please note the income needs to be less than the Personal Allowance)
Resolution
1. Select Client and ensure the Spouse date of birth has been entered in the Year Specific Client Details
2. Ensure the Client date of birth has been entered in the Client Main Details screen
3. Go to page 5 of return and complete boxes 1-5 at the bottom of the page
4. Put a cross in box Tick this box to confirm that a digital claim has been made to transfer the marriage allowance
5. Run calculation
6. Check section less marriage allowance, the amount is being taken off total allowance
