Problem

A client is not listed in the FBI window when selecting the FBI button from the top toolbar.

Resolution

There are several reasons this may occur.  Please check the following:
1.  Select the Excluded Clients button in the FBI window and ensure the client is not ticked in this list
2.  Select the View Tax Return Events button in the Client Tax Returns tab and check to see if there are any dates in event 20 onwards
– Remove any date in event 20 if appropriate, as this will have locked the return
– If event 21 onwards is populated this indicates the return is partway through the FBI process so select the relevant status in the FBI window, or alternatively remove FBI status to start again
3. It is possible the details of one of the demo clients may have been overwritten with the details of the live client
– Either the client would need to be added again
– Or the Support team could apply a data fix behind the scenes to enable this record to be visible in FBI
