Problem

IRIS P11D - 3001 6010 submission not in correct format

Resolution

We can confirm that error 3001 6010 is a HMRC issue when attempting to submit the P11D.

First check if you are on the latest IRIS version – Help and About and Check for Downloads. If you update your version and regenerate but still get the 6010 then it will still be a HMRC issue.

Please note this is not a IRIS software error.
Should you wish to query this further, you will need to contact HMRC and inform them that you are receiving error ‘6010’ when attempting to send your P11D electronically.
Error 3001 is a generic account number which does not have any relevance.
If you are unable to speak to HMRC or they cannot resolve it, the only other alternative would be to file via paper.
