Problem

IRIS Personal Tax- Farmers Averaging 'Use IRIS Figures' and PT crash

Resolution

This issue has been confirmed as a DEFECT in IRIS Version 23.3.0 and fixed when you update to IRIS Version 23.3.1.45.

Also find the workaround below to resolve your issue if you do not want to update ton 23.3.1.45: –

Go to Personal Tax
Go to Trade, Profession or Vocation | Sole Trade or Partnership
Double click on the Accounting Period 05/04/2023
Trading Income Tab
‘Adjustment for Farmers’ or Creative Averaging’ – manually enter the figure in the box.

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT revert the version back to 23.2.0, as this will cause discrepancies.
