IRIS Personal Tax- TR7 Box 19 not showing £ and % symbols on generated return
Resolution
HMRC rules are being applied only when you generate a Tax return- the £ will instead show as GBP and the % will be hidden from view (workaround: type in ‘Percentage’)
Note: These symbols will still show up on the Draft and Final returns.
Below is a generated return – showing the GBP and no % symbol. Certain other symbols are permitted eg &*()
