Date: 2nd September 2026
Time: 13:00 - 14:00 GMT
Duration: 60 mins

The connection between Staffology HR and Staffology Payroll means the employee data you enter in HR flows straight through to payroll, but the way that sync works has recently changed, and the way you manage your data needs to keep up.
This updated session focuses on the HR information that pushes into payroll and the best-practice habits that keep both systems accurate. We’ll walk through the recent changes to the sync, including why keeping every field complete now matters more than ever, alongside the new Integration Audit log, the option to delay payslips, and how to re-sync additional payments after a pay run has opened.
What you’ll learn:
- Understand exactly which HR fields sync to payroll, and why the updated sync makes keeping them complete more important than ever
- Add starters and process leavers in HR so they flow into payroll at the right time, including amending a termination date up to the leaving date
- Link and map HR payment types to payroll pay codes, and add payments manually or in bulk using Salary Modelling and Payroll Matrix
- Push absences, Time Module and Expense Module entries through to payroll automatically
- Apply the payroll lock and understand exactly what it controls
- Use the new Payroll Integration Audit log to confirm changes have synced, and resolve those that haven’t
- Take advantage of new options to delay payslips and re-sync additional payments after a pay run has opened
Who should attend? Anyone using, or about to use, Staffology HR and/or Staffology Payroll who is responsible for the flow of employee data between the two systems and wants to manage it accurately, the best-practice way.
Available to Professional and Ultimate package customers. This is a live session; due to attendee numbers, questions are submitted during the session and answered afterwards rather than live. Can’t make it live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording.
