Overview

The IRIS Accountancy Suite Personal Tax AI release delivers enhanced document import functionality enabling additional document types to be imported. 

IRIS Personal Tax

Personal Tax now includes Document Import, a new AI-powered feature that reads client documents, automatically pulls out the data you need, and feeds it directly into Personal Tax, ready for review.

Previously limited to P60 and P11D, Document Import now also supports three additional document types: Personal Bank Statements (interest income), Business Bank Statements (business income and transactions, with expenses categorised into the categories required on the tax return), and Dividend Vouchers (dividend amounts and dates). 

By removing the need to manually key in this information, Document Import cuts transcription errors and speeds up turnaround on returns involving bank interest, business income, or dividends.
