Rylands Nursing Home, located in Ballymena; Northern Ireland, have a payroll of 80 staff made up of full time, part time and relief workers.

The makeup of the workforce and the industry standard nature of a high turnover of staff makes it a particularly tricky payroll to run, especially when auto enrolment was announced.

Rhonda Smyth, Administrator of Rylands Nursing Home explained:

“It was only until we approached our staging date that I realised how much extra work auto enrolment would take me. The responsibility for setting up and administering auto enrolment fell to me and I didn’t feel like I personally was adequately equipped both in terms of knowledge and expertise. This is where both IRIS and The People’s Pension were of immeasurable help to me.”

Rhonda then went on to talk about how the IRIS AE Suite™ allows her a massive amount of time saving and that working with The People’s Pension was “very straightforward and they always have the answers to any questions I may have.”
