Why choose us

Why schools and trusts choose Every Compliance

  • Complete compliance visibility, trust–wide

A real-time view across every school helps leadership teams spot risks early, standardise processes, and maintain full oversight without manual reporting.

  • Always inspection–ready

Build audit trails and compliance evidence continuously, so records are up to date whenever an inspection is announced.

  • Built for education

Every feature reflects how schools operate, helping teams manage statutory requirements without workarounds or added complexity.

  • Less admin, more control

Automation reduces manual effort and duplication while improving visibility and control across multiple sites.

Eight modules, one system

Everything from day-to-day compliance admin to long-term estate planning

  • Contract renewals, warranties, and supplier details sit in one place, so nothing slips through the net. Raise and manage repairs through a simple helpdesk, track jobs from report to resolution, and keep a clear record of who did what, and when.

  • Distribute policies trust-wide from one system, with automatic publishing so every site works from the current version. Full read tracking shows who has signed off each policy and who hasn’t, so gaps are visible before they become a problem.

  • An interactive risk heatmap and live RAG reporting give leadership a clear view of risk across every site. Incidents are logged centrally, so trends are visible rather than hidden in separate records, helping trusts act early and reduce repeat issues

  • Value, depreciation, and replacement schedules are held in one register, giving a clear picture of what a trust owns and when it will need reinvestment. That data supports better budgeting decisions and reduces the risk of assets failing without warning.

  • Condition survey data is turned into reports that support funding bids and capital planning. Funding is then linked directly to that data, so trusts can evidence the impact of every project and track how estate condition changes over time.

  • Overdue training is flagged automatically, so staff and managers know what’s outstanding without manual checks. Completions are tracked trust-wide, giving a single, current view of compliance training across every school.

Frequently asked questions

The best compliance software for a multi-academy trust provides a single, centralised view of compliance across all schools while allowing individual sites to manage day-to-day activity. Every Compliance by IRIS delivers this with real-time oversight of statutory obligations, risk, policies, and estate condition from one system.

Key features include:

  • A consolidated dashboard across every school
  • Drill-down visibility to site or asset level
  • Standardised processes across the trust
  • Built-in statutory checks, policy management, and risk tracking

Schools prepare for an Ofsted inspection by keeping compliance records, policies, risk registers, and audit trails continuously up to date. The most effective approach is ongoing readiness rather than last-minute preparation.

This includes:

  • Maintaining current statutory compliance records
  • Tracking policy distribution and staff sign-off
  • Keeping risk registers accurate and visible
  • Ensuring audit trails clearly evidence activity

Every Compliance supports this by automatically generating audit trails and keeping records current.

The School Estate Management Standards are a DfE framework that define how schools and trusts manage estates, including safety, maintenance, and long-term planning.

They require:

  • Reliable estate condition data
  • Evidence of compliance activity
  • A proactive approach to estate management

From autumn 2026, trusts must complete self-assessment returns against SEMS.

Yes. Good Estate Management for Schools (GEMS) remains the DfE's detailed guidance and toolkit for estate management, and has not been replaced. SEMS sits alongside it as a shorter, standards-based framework that signposts back to GEMS for fuller detail. In practice, schools and trusts use GEMS for the how and SEMS for the self-assessment of where they currently stand.

The annual estate management return is a SEMS-based self-assessment that schools and trusts must complete each year from autumn 2026.

To complete it, schools need:

  • Up-to-date condition data
  • Current compliance records
  • Evidence of proactive estate management

With a structured system, this data is collected throughout the year, making reporting straightforward.

Every Compliance is a dedicated compliance and estates platform. As part of IRIS Education, it is built on the same specialist expertise that underpins our HR, finance, and operational systems across schools and trusts.
