Archive Document Failure error when reports are being saved from IRIS Accountancy Suite to IRIS Docs

Resolution

We have had reports of users getting archive document failure errors when reports and documents are being saved to IRIS Docs.

Please ensure you are running the latest version of IRIS Docs. The latest version will be available in our product downloads section by clicking HERE.

There have been changes made to the link between Iris, Docs & OpenSpace in the latest versions so I would advise updating to the latest versions if not.

If you are on the latest version of both, please can you check that the following information has been entered:

1) login to IRIS as Master
2) Open System Maintenance
3) Select utilities | Document Management Link
4) Click OK
5) Highlight “IRIS Docs”
6) Click Next
7) enter the DOCs system Administrator Credentials in the boxes at the bottom
8) Keep clicking Next until you get to the option to finish

If you are unsure of what the Docs system administrator account is, you can check it by going to the following location in Docs:

Open Docs | Select Administration | Users | Show users | Double click on “System Administrator” | The account username will be listed under “Login name”.

If you do not know the password, then this would need to be reset on your network (e.g. using Active directory).
