After upgrading to version 26.1.10.60 or 26.1.10.61 of IRIS Accountancy Suite users report being removed from the software and receiving errors like “Session will end: Your Administration has terminated your session” or “Session Control : Shared memory is locked”.
The 26.1.12 hotfix is now available, please see the table below for what actions to take depending on your current version.
Your version of IRIS can be checked via Help | About in the application.
Hotfixes come in two formats, an installer and a payload.
The installer format can be downloaded and applied to IRIS installs like an update.
The payload format is a .zip archive that must be extracted and you then copy/cut & paste the files into your IRIS Installation locations.
The payload can replace the existing versions of the files or you can rename the existing files prior to pasting the hotfix payload into the directory.
Both formats need to be applied to your full install of IRIS, and any Local Programs Only (LPO) installs you may have deployed.
If you right click on the IRIS desktop shortcut and open file location it should take you to the relevant location for your install, with workstation (WSS) installs taking you through the main install location.

Please follow these steps to apply the hotfix.
1) Remove the switch from the tt.ini file by navigating to the IRIS install folder, going into the database0 folder and opening tt.ini, under the [SWITCHES] section remove
0007CatchSerialNum0=0
2) Make sure all users are logged out before executing the hotfix installer and that the server is restarted afterwards.
