IRIS Personal Tax- IDENTITY VERIFICATION PRECONDITION FAILED - this is part of the HMRC Data retrieval

Resolution

This is a new error started in 2022 and is coming from the HMRC system. They have a issue with your USER Agent credentials

Please follow this KB to reset your agent credentials and logging back in – answer all security questions etc. However if you are not the one who answers the questions then ask your manager who should complete it.
