P11D – Run P11D(B) form but client address missing details

Run P11DB form and the top left employer client address is missing details like city and postcode etc.

Character/row rule: This is because the P11D employer name/address box has a character limit which cannot be overridden (and the address box size cannot be expanded).

1. Check the ‘Employer/Company name’- if too long then it will take up several rows and push the rest of the address inputs out of view
2. Check company address field (in IAS: Client/ select/ highlight the company/ view/ address tab). Review every row and characters entered- too many entries/characters per row will push the rest of the address out of view.
3. Run a test and reduce the name and/or address and you will note the difference on the P11DB

If you cannot edit the company name (reduce characters) or edit the address to use less characters or rows- then submit the P11DB as it is and let HMRC know separately.
