Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

What is Robotic Process Automation? (RPA)

Robotic Process Automation uses software robots or “bots” to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks traditionally performed by humans. RPA bots interact with applications just as humans do, following defined workflows to complete tasks like data entry, form processing, report generation, and system updates.

In accounting and HR contexts, RPA automates invoice processing, account reconciliation, payroll data transfers, employee onboarding tasks, and compliance reporting. Unlike traditional integration, RPA doesn’t require system modifications, operating at the presentation layer.

RPA improves accuracy, increases processing speed, reduces costs, frees employees for higher-value work, and scales easily. This technology has become essential for operational efficiency in process-intensive business functions.
