You get the warning when generating a new BT tax return

  1. Load BT and the client and correct period
  2. Edit and Losses
  3. Review and correct all the entries for the relevant column period
  4. If all correct – under the relevant CTAP column click EDIT
  5. Review and correct all the entries
  6. If all correct – Click on the top left box ‘Brought forward’ then use your TAB key and tap it multiple times – this refreshes the boxes and may auto edit a incorrect value. Once its gone full circle then click UPDATE TOTALS and then Ok
  7. Now regenerate a new tax return and the warning should not show
