Simon Freeman

Simon Freeman is the Managing Director for Education at IRIS, where he leads the strategic evolution of our education portfolio. He is responsible for delivering innovative solutions that support senior leadership teams across schools, multi-academy trusts, and independent institutions worldwide.

Before joining IRIS, Simon held senior operational leadership roles across large-scale technology and services organisations. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Capita Local Public Services, a 3,500-person business delivering digitally enabled BPO solutions to public sector organisations across the UK. In this role, he led major transformation programmes, improved service performance, and enhanced customer outcomes through technology-enabled operational change.

Driven by a commitment to improving outcomes in education, Simon is focused on positioning IRIS as the partner of choice for institutions facing increasing operational, financial, and regulatory complexity.
