For Lizzy, Cascade has become the backbone of her HR operations. She tells us, “We couldn’t function without Cascade. It’s so great to have it as one source of truth for employee information, and it links directly into payroll, which is super helpful.”

Lizzy’s standout feature of the software is the mail merge functionality, telling us, “I’ve spent so many hours of my career mail merging thousands of documents. It’s such a timesaver doing that with the click of a button.”

Working in HR Programmes, Courtney tells us, “I use Cascade every single day, I wouldn’t be able to do my job without it.” Particularly, Cascade plays a crucial role in mapping employee career frameworks and enhancing workforce visibility. “We’ve recently launched a job architecture project and we can configure Cascade so that when you select the position of the role, it can populate those fields based on that position.” This functionality ensures consistency and clarity in job families and levels across the organisation.
Courtney’s standout features of Cascade are the ability to customise the software to your business needs, and the HR dashboard. She tells us, “We have a HR dashboard which helps us track key metrics on a full scale of all the employees. It’s really important to have one centralised place where we can do a scan of all the key items we are tracking and working towards improving.”

Laura loves Cascade for its flexibility and customisation. She tells us her favourite feature is the screen designer, “I love that the screen designer tool lets you customise the system to suit your needs. Anything we would have tracked on word docs or in forms or on spreadsheets we’ve moved onto the system by creating a screen for it.” For Laura, the total control and visibility over HR operations is what makes Cascade stand out from the rest!

For Caroline, Cascade’s automation capabilities steal the show. She tells us, “20% of my team’s workload comes from Cascade reminders telling us to an amazing number of things – from fixed term end date follow-ups, Visa expiry dates, to Leaver right to Work documents destruction 2 years after leaving… All the manual spreadsheets I’ve ever kept throughout my career no longer exist. All that information is now in Cascade and we get a workflow coming out the other end.”
