IRIS Docs v6.27 release notes

Overview

The 6.27 release of IRIS Docs is primarily a technical release with some quality enhancements due to customer feedback.

Advanced notification

Version 6.27 no longer supports the following Microsoft products:

Windows 10
Office 2016
Office 2019

Windows Server support
Windows Server 2025 is now a supported environment for installations.

New features

Intray Delete Privilege

A new Document privilege has been added that controls the deleting of documents and folders from the user’s Intray.

Note: This privilege is off by default on upgrade.

To enable the privilege, select Security tab, Document and then select the option Delete for intray.

Outlook Web Admin

Due to exchange online legacy tokens being deprecated for Outlook, Web Addins may fail to authenticate. Changes have been made to the Office Web Addin to mitigate against this.

Resolved issues

Fixed a rule processing issue with the DataHub. The ‘Internal’ rule was incorrectly processing external emails.
Resolved an issue with apostrophes in Netscan folder paths.
