Part 1 of the CT600 indicates that accounts and computations are attached

IRIS Business Tax

When generating a Company Tax Return and you receive the following message: 'Part 1 of the CT600 indicates that accounts and computations are attached so you must attach the accounts to this return. If you do not want to attach accounts go to Data Entry / Summary and amend the data entered.'

If you want to attach the accounts from Accounts Production, please do the following in Business Tax:

• Go to Reports in the top left-hand corner

• Electronic Tax Return

• Choose the option ‘Automatically select IXBRL HMRC Copy from IRIS AP’/ Select External File

• Next to ‘Automatically select IXBRL HMRC Copy from IRIS AP’ if it shows Select Attachment

• Click on Select Attachment

• Highlight the correct accounts

• Click on Select

• Continue generating the Tax Return
