Problem
When printing the clients Electronic Tax return the following validation error is generated: "There is an entry in box [SA110:Next year's repayment claimed now], box [SA101:Next year's trading and capital losses relief] must also be completed. Please check".
Resolution
This message indicates that there is an entry in box 15 on page TCS2 to indicate that tax credit from a following year is being carried back into the current year. When this is the case an entry is required in box 3 on page Ai3, this box can be completed as follows:
1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client.
2. Click on Other Income, click Any Other Losses.
3. Enter the figure into the box labelled future trading or certain capital losses.
