Problem
The following internet rejection message is being received: "Business Error 3001 the submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific logic in the body tag".
Resolution
This 3001 is a standard rejection message generated by the HMRC indicating that the Tax Return has been rejected. A further ‘4 digit’ code will be supplied to provide an explanation as this is the actual issue. Please carry out a new KB search for the further 4 digit rejection code
i.e. If you have a rejection code of 6594 or any other then please insert these numbers into the search criteria
