Problem
Users have reported an issue generating Dividend vouchers/share certificates since upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update and 17.1.1. Users are reporting IWINCSEC.exe has stopped working when attempting to generate dividend vouchers
Resolution
If you are experiencing iwincsec.exe errors whilst generating dividend vouchers/share certificates please run through the steps below:
Click Start in the bottom left of Windows
Click Run
Type winver
If the build shows 1703, we would advise to try generating the documents on another machine which does not have this build of Windows. If the issue does not occur on other machines this will be linked to an issue which we have logged with the IRIS Development team in connection with IRIS Company Secretarial crashing when attempting to generate documents on machines with Windows 10 Build 1703 installed.
This issue has been resolved in IRIS 17.3.0 (Released October 2017)
