Problem
How do I change the description of 'Patents & Licences written off' in the Operating Profit Note? Account 297/2 has also been renamed on the ELTD chart but the Operating Profit Note is still reading the description 'Patents & Licences written off'.
Resolution
Solution:
The description of ‘Patents & Licences written off’ is picked up from the Account Description of Account 503/22
If you would like to amend the description of this heading, follow the below steps:
Edit| Account Descriptions- New- Enter the Account Number 503/22 and in the provided “Description and Extended “fields enter the new description.
This will filter the change onto the Operating Profit Note.
