Problem
How do I force the CGT pages to be produced within the tax return? In some circumstances it may not be necessary to produce the capital gains pages. For example the gain is below the annual exemption or the proceeds are below the amount deemed necessary needed to report, e.g. £35,200.
Resolution
Users are required to:
1. Log on to IRIS and select the client.
2. From the Edit menu, select Capital Assets.
3. From the Capital Assets menu on the Left choose Edit then select Losses and Other Information.
4. Tick box – Force CG tax return pages option.
These forced pages will be generated when printing a Tax Return and will be included when filing by internet.
