The People’s Pension visit the IRIS Manchester office

Today William Finch from The People’s Pension came in to talk to the IRIS staff in the Manchester office about the service offered by The People’s Pension. There were three sessions to accommodate our vast number of experts in auto enrolment.

The talk started with how The People’s Pension is set up as a not-for-profit organisation by Building and Civil Engineering (B&CE) as their vehicle for auto enrolment. There was further information about how IRIS worked with The People’s Pension and their role in the auto enrolment process. This was one of the first opportunities many of the IRIS auto enrolment experts have had to talk to a pension provider and they found the whole experience very useful.

With various different awards including a five star rating from Defaqto and Winner of Direct Contribution Provider of the Year 2014, The People’s Pension pride themselves on not turning down any company for business for their auto enrolment schemes.

The aim of the sessions was to further educate our payroll specialists in the pension providers which work with IRIS Software.

Whilst being pension agnostic where pension providers are concerned, it is beneficial to users of IRIS software if our auto enrolment experts are educated on the pension providers in the market and how we link with the pension file format. 

And then, in true inquisitive fashion, our auto enrolment experts gave William a volley of questions, which he handled really well!
