IRIS Spring v25.1.3 service pack 1

Overview

The IRIS Accountancy Suite Spring service pack 1 release version 25.1.3.33 provides you with the following resolutions and enhancements:


IRIS Personal Tax

Resolved issues:

  • Self-employed individuals with accounting periods ending on 31/03/2025 will now have the correct profit and class 4 NIC reflected on the computation and tax return.
  • Some users were encountering issues when producing paper checklists for current/all clients, this has now been resolved.
  • Tax Returns can now be submitted with the correct CIS entry in box 81 of the Self Employment full pages, with the correct Tax Calculation.
  • Self-Employment pages are now correctly appearing when the client has a trading profit and is claiming the trading allowance on box 16.
  • The Employment earnings field is now enabled to enter a manual value when toggled between HMRC and Manual entries.

IRIS Business Tax 

Resolved issues:

  • CT600A supplementary pages were being incorrectly completed with zeros in respect of Participators and Directors where either a brought forward loan exists, or the participator had no loan made in the period causing an online filing validation error.
  • Partnership tax return for 2024/25 boxes 3.14A, 3.15A, 3.16 and 3.17 were not being completed with the values of capital allowances claimed or balancing charges arising in the ‘Main and special Rate pools’.

IRIS Time & Fees

Resolved issue:

  • IRIS Time is no longer crashing when closing the General Instructions Report.

IRIS Core

Resolved issue:

When setting up a new connection to IRIS Elements, all clients and non-clients are now deselected by default in the Elements Sync Control Panel.
