User gets the error:
Resolution
PAYE-Master uses Microsoft .NET 4.0, this error indicates that the installation of .NET 4.0 on this PC isn’t working correctly.
In order to correct this, you will need to remove the existing, not working, installation of .NET 4.0 from the PC, reboot, reinstall .NET 4.0.
• Remove .NET 4.0 – Go to “Control Panel” on your PC and select “Programs and Features” or “Uninstall a Program“. In the list of programs, find the entry for .NET 4.0, right click and “Uninstall“
• Work through the wizard and remove .NET 4.0 from the PC. Once the is complete, restart the PC. If you do not restart at this point .NET 4 will not reinstall correctly.
• Download and install a fresh copy of .NET 4.0 from Microsoft, click here.
• Once you have reinstalled .NET 4.0 you will be able to use PAYE-Master as normal.
