Problem
User gets the following error when trying to run "Year-End" >"Clear Totals"
If you are getting an unhandled exception when going into "Pay" > "Variations", please check the details here.
Resolution
There is old pay frequency information in the data file that is preventing the clear totals process from completing correctly.
To remove this you can use the utility “Clear STAT table“
- Go to “Utilities” > “Database Maintenance” > “Clear Stat Table“
- Click ‘OK‘ on the warning.
- On the next window make sure the frequency you want to clear is selected.
NOTE: Do NOT run this utility on any current pay frequency. ie. any pay frequency used to pay employees in the current tax year.
- Click ‘OK‘
- Click ‘Yes‘ on the following window
- Click ‘OK‘ on the final confirmation window.
- Restart PAYE-Master, the old pay frequency information will be removed you will now be able to clear totals and move into the new year.
