Problem
User gets the error:
Resolution
This error usually occurs if the GP Accounts hasn’t been closed down correctly, for example after a PC has crashed.
To correct the error:
• Make sure your GP Accounts software is closed and also any other PC’s that are connected to the data table are also closed.
• Click the Start button on your PC and then go to Programs> IRIS GP Accounts> IRIS GP Accounts Rescue.
•Click on the Repair the GP Accounts Database Option as shown in the screenshot below, then click Repair the Database:
•Once the Repair has finished you can close out of the Rescue Screens and Re-Open your GP Accounts.
The IRIS GP Accounts rescue package requires the administrator password to operate. If you are unable to log in an alternative to the steps above would be to:
• Log in to GP Accounts with your normal login details and got to “File” > “Repair Accounts Data“. Please note: If you use this option make sure only one PC is logged into GP Accounts before starting the process.
