Problem
It has been identified that when trying to access IRIS the following error can occur :Cannot get logical Lock. Fail code 5 on ISOL0001.TTLNOTE : One or both of the session login files have become corrupted and need to be reset
Resolution
It has been identified that when trying to access IRIS the following error can occur :Cannot get logical Lock. Fail code 5 on ISOL0001.TTLNOTE : One or both of the session login files have become corrupted and need to be reset
This may also appear when loading a client in PT/BT etc
The first thing which must be completed – Set a date/time for everyone to log off IRIS and restart your IRIS system on the Server/PC/Host site. Once restarted then ask users to login back in and check again.
Below is the original advise we gave which we do not recommend anymore:
- First, ensure everyone is logged out of IRIS
- Open the IRIS Main Menu
- Click File in the top left
- Click Utilities (A white IRIS screen will be displayed)
- Click Fix
- Click Reset Session Control (Read this KB at the end )
- Click Yes to Confirm, this may provide a code you need to share with IRIS Support to allow you to run the reset. You can contact us at support@iris.co.uk, on +44 (0)344 815 5551 with you code which is showing.
- Exit and retry
