Problem
IRIS Personal tax- When printing the clients Electronic Tax return the following validation error is generated:"Error 6215 in /hd:GovTalkMessage[1]/hd:Body[1]/MRT:IRenvelope[1]/MTRThere is an entry in box [CAL15], box [AIL3] must also be completed. Please check".
Resolution
This message indicates that there is an entry in box 15 on page TCS2 but there is no corresponding entry in box 3 on page Ai3. Box 3 on page Ai3 can be completed as follows:
1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client.
2. Click on Other Income, click Any Other Losses and Limit on Income Tax Relief.
3. Enter a figure into the box Future trading or certain capital losses.
4. Regenerate the Electronic Tax return and then transmit it.
