Problem
When printing an Electronic P11D report the following message is being generated Client: (client ID is given). Vehicle: (make/model of relevant car is given). Missing engine size electronic report has been aborted.
Resolution
Users are required to:
1. Log on to the P11D module, select the employer and click on the relevant employee/director.
2. From the Edit menu select Car benefit (details).
3. Select the car detailed in the error message, click Change.
4. Enter the engine size, click OK.
Alternatively if the engine size is not obtainable users can remove the tick from the Include P46 (car) details option within the Electronic Report Options screen. The P46 (car) forms can then be submitted separately to HMRC by post
