Problem
IRIS Personal Tax- The clients Tax Return has been rejected with the following error: Error 5015 in Known Facts CheckSubmission for the user and the tax year has already been successfully made
Resolution
This message indicates that a final return for a specific client has already been successfully submitted to HMRC. If the Return is to be submitted again users are required to send an amended Return which can be done as follows:
1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client.
2. From the Reports menu, select Electronic Tax Return.
3. Enable the Amended field, click OK.
4. A warning message will appear stating that a Tax Return for this client has already been submitted for this period, click OK to confirm that an amended return should be generated.
5. Transmit the Tax Return as normal.
