Problem
It has been identified that when trying to update or install IRIS Practice Software the installtion does not proceed beyond the company details screen. NOTE: Typically the Next button can be clicked but nothing happens and the hourglass flashes for a couple of seconds.
Resolution
Following the steps below may help to resolve the issue.
Open the installed anti virus program
Disable ALL security options.
Click Next and continue with the IRIS installation.
Once installation of IRIS Accountancy Software is complete please enable ALL security options within your anti virus program
IMPORTANT: IRIS cannot provide any additional information on how to enable/disable your Anti Virus software. If additional information is required please contact your own IT Support provider.
