Problem
User gets error "3011 - the Microsoft jet engine - cannot find the object ??? make sure path name is set correctly"
Resolution
NOTE: These steps, once started, should be allowed to complete and should not be interrupted or terminated early. Depending on the state of the data file they can take a long time to complete, during which the affected company will be unavailable to use.
• Go to “Tools” > “Rebuild Data File“, click “Yes” to both prompts to start the rebuild.
If the user cannot login to the software or the above fails to complete you can attempt to repair the data file from the admin log in.
• Log into the admin mode of the software,(default login details; user name: SYSTEM, password: admin)
• Go to “File” > “Companies” > “Rebuild“
• Click “Yes” to compact the database
If both these attempts fail to correct the problem please contact our support team.
