Employees have spoken! Recognition and rewards are just one of the reasons why employees love working for IRIS Software Group (IRIS) – even during a pandemic.

Despite an incredibly challenging year for businesses the world over, IRIS was able to sustain its award-winning culture, ultimately achieving a 29th ranking on the 2021 UK’s Best Workplaces™ list in the Super Large category published by Great Place to Work® UK.

IRIS is among the 183 UK-based organisations recognised by its employees as an organisation that promotes a healthy workplace culture through trust, pride and camaraderie during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Stephanie Kelly, Chief People Officer, IRIS Software Group says, “Entering the Best Workplaces™ programme for us was not only something to strive for but a tool to help us review every area of our relationships with employees.

“None of this would have been possible without the insight, passion and hard work of everyone across the IRIS family.”

Understanding the perspective of employees is key to building a successful workplace environment. To determine an organisation’s inclusion and ranking, Great Place to Work® administers its comprehensive employee survey which represents three quarters of an organisation’s final score. The remaining quarter of the score comes from the Culture Audit® – a business-driven questionnaire that uncovers and evaluates the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.

José  De Abreu, Scrum Master, IRIS Software Group says,

“The amount of support we’re given is phenomenal. No matter the issue, someone is always there to help out, and there is a genuine empathy! People really care for each other.”

Gina Burnside, Payroll Specialist, IRIS Software Group says,

“Being a woman in the workplace can be challenging, but that is not the case here at IRIS. It is so inspiring to be led by our amazing CEO Elona who gives us the empowerment to succeed.”

Andrew Parker, Team Lead for Training, IRIS Software Group says,

“It’s very refreshing to see how IRIS is open and aspirational and actively seeks to get the very best from its employees. At the same time, it gives us the best opportunities to grow and succeed.”
