IRIS Software Seminars set to help UK accountants prepare for digital changes
15 March 2017: IRIS Software Group’s Making Tax Digital seminars, which aim to help accountancy practices bridge the digital tax gap, will be taking place at venues around the UK this month.
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a key part of the government’s plans to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their tax right and keep on top of their affairs – meaning the end of the annual tax return for millions. These sweeping changes will become legislation for businesses with a turnover in excess of the VAT threshold in 2018 yet there remains widespread confusion on the requirements to comply with this legislation.
To ensure the industry is fully prepared, IRIS is hosting a seminar for accountants to learn about the requirements of MTD and to gain practical advice on how best to take advantage of the changing accountancy landscape. The seminar will provide an opportunity to network with other accountants and gain insight into how others are addressing the challenge.
