IRIS Cascade Q3 2021 Product Update

July to September 2021 Update

We are constantly striving to enhance the functionality IRIS Cascade delivers to its users. This product update provides information on new features, enhancements and fixes developed during July to September 2021.

All new features and enhancements arise from feedback and suggestions from customers.

We’re continually fixing bugs, improving security and enhancing features. Full details of all major releases can be found on your Community Portal.  

Version: 7.10 July 2021

This release includes a selection of HR enhancements, including:

  • Enhancements for the new Cascade UI (User Interface)
  • IE & Edge legacy warning banners cannot be removed
  • Old UI warning banners cannot be removed
  • New UI – a system set to ‘Selected Users’, System Admins will see a warning banner that cannot be removed
  • New UI – ‘Theme (new UI User Theme)’ field added to USERS query builder screen
  • Screen Designer – Data import/Export button now behind a role item

We are now seriously encouraging customers to move to the new UI and as such the yellow warning banners cannot be removed.

This release includes a selection of HR & Payroll enhancements, including:

  • New Awards nominations feature
  • New Enhanced theming colour options for the new UI
  • New UI improvements to self-serve timesheets
  • A user guide is available for the new Awards feature and the User Themes guide has been updated. These are available in the Community Portal.

  • Small new UI fixes in Payroll
